International Tech Park Chennai joined hands with Chennai city Police

Chennai, November 15, 2017: International Tech Park Chennai (ITPC), a joint venture between Ascendas-Singbridge and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), has partnered with Chennai City Police department to install CCTV cameras on the CSIR road as part of the safety and community initiative. 16 CCTV cameras have been installed along the entire stretch of CSIR road. The cameras were inaugurated by connecting to the police surveillance grid by Mr Rohit Nathan IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adyar along with Assistant Commissioner of Police, Inspector of Police, Taramani and Mr Ammaiappan, Head, Legal, Ascendas-Singbridge India.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the initiative and reiterated that it would enhance the safety of the parkites and the public at large. He mentioned that the police will be using the latest facial recognition technology. He also urged that more corporates should come forward and install CCTV cameras outside their facilities to help the police keep a better vigil.
