Expats, Chef Nguy?n Thanh V? and Chef Nguyen Thi Nho bring the unique Vietnamese flavors to Chennai
Chennai, 8th July, 2014: Benjarong is all set to host the Vietnamese food festival at its restaurant on TTK Road from the 9th of July till the 27th of July, 2014. Expat Chefs, Chef Nguy?n Thanh V? and Chef Nguyen Thi Nho, have flown down exclusively from Vietnam, to host the festival along with Benjarong’s Brand Chef, Chef Ram Kumar and Oriental Cuisine’s Corporate Chef, Chef Aji Joseph.
Chef Nguy?n Thanh V?, a pro in Vietnamese and western cuisine is the Founder, General Manager of Gourmet Solutions Ltd. He is a renowned culinary expert and food stylist who has participated in numerous cooking and talk shows. He has also been associated with the project ‘A Taste of Vietnam’, a popular Vietnamese cookbook.
Chef Nguyen Thi Nho is also an expert in Vietnamese and western cuisine and has been associated with famous cooking shows on TV and radio channels in Vietnam. She has displayed her excellence by participating in Guinness Vietnam Record 2013, for ‘The Most Soup/Noodle in a festival’. Vietnamese delicacies are created with selective use of spices to attain a fine taste.
Rice and fish sauce are widely popular in Vietnamese cooking and this cuisine offers an admirable balance between vegetables and meat. Vietnamese food is considered as one of the healthiest and most divine cuisine worldwide. Exquisite preparation and interesting cooking techniques, along with delicate and appealing presentation while serving are unique traits to this traditional type of cuisine.
The special menu includes a handpicked selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian delicacies. Apart from soups and salads made with unique flavors and ingredients, the highlights on the main course include Bò Xào L?n (Wok tossed Tenderloin with Lemongrass and Chilli), CáN??ngNg?V? (Five spiced Vietnamese Fish), ??u H? Tay C?m (Caramelised Tofu in Clay pot) and Pho (The national dish of Vietnam which is a noodle soup meal).
