The “Havana” solo singer is officially the first woman to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with a debut full-length record in three years, according to Billboard.
Camila‘s self-titled debut landed at No. 1 with songs Havana topping charts worldwide. “MY ALBUM IS NUMBER 1 ON BILLBOARD HOT 200!” she posted on social media on Sunday (January 21). “IM CRYING ON THE STREET.”
The album was in a tight race with the Greatest Showman soundtrack for the No. 1 spot on this week’s chart.

Camila Cabello, who has spent weeks topping the charts, has a new and a very famous fan who is none other than the legendary Elton John! On a new episode of Beats 1 Elton John said , “I just think she’s going to have an amazing year, cause she’s … just so much fun. She’s got a great voice, and she has a great attitude.”
He further added that he were to meet Cabello he would tell her "You make me happy...your records make me smile.” He continued, “There’s a vibrancy in her... It makes me feel good, makes me want to get up and dance.”
Camilla was super excited when she heard of this and went onto her socials and said, “oh my god Elton John knows my name”.
Havana is having the longest run on the Pop Songs chart since Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” in 2013. Not only that, but “Havana” has also been declared 2x platinum in the United States and sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
