Ente Keralam celebrates Onam with authentic Sadhya and live Ottathullal dance performance

Chennai, 27th August 2014: Ente Keralam is hosting a special ‘Onam Sadhya’ from the 29th of August to the 8th of September at its restaurants in Poes Garden, Anna Nagar and MRC Nagar to celebrate the welcoming of King Mahabali.

Sadhya, a pure vegetarian meal consists of a wide variety of traditional delicacies spread on a banana leaf which includes a special assortment of two payasams, two pradhaman, four kinds of fried chips, four unique pickles, kaalan, olan, thoran, errusery, avial, sambhar, rasam and more. This year the festive celebrations go live, as an exclusive Ottathullal dance show is organized for an energetic and entertaining dining experience.

This troop is headed by an ‘award winning maestro’ Pazhuvil Gopinath from Trichur. The talented multifaceted chef cum priest, Thirumeni Unnikrishnan Namboodiri will be present at Ente Keralam, under whose supervision the Chefs specially flown-in from Kerala will create an authentic Onam Sadhya which is made from unique traditional ingredients to create an unforgettable feast.

The restaurant has erected a special kitchen for the festival to ensure the food is prepared in the most immaculate and ritually pure environment. As part of Onam festivities, the Sadhya is priced at Rs.495/- onwards.

The hosts at Ente Keralam will be seen in traditional Kerala outfits, while the restaurant will be decorated with beautiful pookkalams and other festivities to celebrate. Take-away options are also available.
