FLIPKART to delight Disney fans with Disney carnival
Chennai, 19 April, 2019: India’s leading e-commerce marketplace, Flipkart has announced the second edition of Disney Carnival, an annual celebration created for Flipkart customers and Disney fans. The Carnival will run on the Flipkart platform from 19th to 21st April 2019 and will feature products from popular franchises like Marvel’s Avengers, Star Wars and Disney Classics like Dumbo and will cut across categories including toys, kids’ fashion, school supplies and accessories.
Flipkart will also launch Disney, Marvel and Star Wars novels targeting Young Adult (YA) for the very first time in India, coinciding with World Book Day on 23rd April 2019. Flipkart will host a special bookstore for these novels, which includes titles such as Thanos - Titan Consumed, The Jungle Book - The Strength of the Wolf is the Pack, and Star Wars - Dark Disciple. More titles will be added to the bookstore month on month.
