MDMK quits People?s Welfare Front
CHENNAI: The four-party alliance, People's Welfare Front floated in 2015 has fallen apart. Vaiko's MDMK on Tuesday declared quitting the alliance.
A resolution to this effect was adopted by a high-level panel of the MDMK, led by presidium chairman Tirupur S Duraisamy in Chennai.
"The MDMK quits People's Welfare Front. It will continue to have friendly relationship with allies - the CPM, the CPI and the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi," the resolution said.
