The Moon and Sixpence, Irish Pub located at the Hablis Hotel in Guindy will celebrate ‘St. Patrick’s Day’ between 15th March 2014 and 17th March 2014 with special Irish feast, fun activities and music for its guests. As part of the St. Patirck’s day celebrations, which marks a cultural and religious significance in Ireland, The Moon and Sixpence will organize a fun weekend leading to the St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th March 2014.

St Patrick's Day which is celebrated across the world, is a landmark event in every Irish venue. The Moon and Sixpence which is the city’s newest addition will adorn itself with decorations of the holy shamrock, tinsel, balloons and leprechauns for the St. Patrick’s Day. To keep the festival spirits high, Bangalore based music band, ‘Mad Orange Fireworks’ will play at The Irish Pub commemorating the historic event.

The restaurant will host an Irish feast for its guests with specialties like Smoked salmon salad served with champagne vinaigrette on watercress, thinly sliced red onion, eggs and soda bread crustini, Sliders topped with grilled onion and Irish fries, Irish skins, baked potato filled with melted cheddar cheese, green onions served with sour cream is a classic dish, Irish lamb Stew which is braised lamb and vegetables in a rich broth, served with pilaf rice.

The festival special and an all time favourite Bailey’s Irish crème cheesecake is a rich and creamy dessert with a beautiful blend of the Baileys, is a sinful end to the gluttony that the festival will offer.
