- Through this partnership Bounce will strengthen its presence in rural areas across India by sellings its product offerings through the CSE Network

- The CSC, a special purpose vehicle of Ministry of Electronics and IT, allows its village level entrepreneurs the option to launch a Grameen e-store


Bengaluru, 5th July 2022: In a move to promote the adoption of cleaner and affordable mobility solutions, Bounce, has entered into a partnership with CSC e-Governance Services India, an SPV established under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. Through this agreement Bounce will strengthen its presence in the rural areas across India by sellings its products and services through the CSC network. Initially the company will offer the following products and services - Bounce Infinity e-scooters, Fleet Rental & 2W/3W Retrofitting. This partnership is a collaborative effort to bring Bounce’s smart mobility offerings to rural customers across the country. 


With the MoU, Bounce will aim at improving mobility at over seven lakh villages across India with its various consumer centric offerings. To facilitate smooth rural commerce, the centers are equipped with highly trained village level entrepreneurs (VLEs) catering to all financial and product queries; and enabling sales and service to end customers in rural areas under one roof. 


In a formal ceremony held in New Delhi earlier, Mr. Sachin Vasanth Shenoy, Vice President - Expansion, Bounce and Mr. Dinesh Tyagi IAS, Managing Director, CSC SPV along with Gaurav Kumar Chaudhary, Head of CSC Rural e-Mobility Initiative, Common Services Center SPV signed and exchanged the agreement.

“CSC Rural e-Mobility is an initiative of CSC e-Governance Services India Limited (Common Services Center) which is formed as a Special Purpose Vehicle under the aegis of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). CSC Rural e-Mobility promotes use of Electric Vehicles and Charging infrastructure across India through a strong and vibrant network of VLEs (Village Level Entrepreneurs) spread across the length and breadth of India. This partnership with Bounce will take this initiative forward where our VLEs will set up Dealerships for Bounce Infinity (New Electric scooter from Bounce), start Retrofit Franchises (Converting petrol 2 wheelers to electric) and also start fleet rental business in locations which has strong inflow of tourists. A CSC Grameen eStore is a retail outlet in a village/town which also operates as an online to offline delivery store which has a mobile app available for customers to order products online. It is set up by a VLE (Village Level Entrepreneur)

A CSC Grameen eStore procures, manages the inventory, takes orders via online means and delivers products through the online to offline store front.

CSC Grameen eStore employs “Digital Cadets” (Last mile delivery personnel) to deliver products to the customer’s doorstep.

CSC Grameen eStore opens bigger and newer opportunities for manufacturers to sell their products deeper and deeper into the country.
