This was a huge loophole in the business strategy. Customer is indeed king, but that is ultimately tied up with how a company treats their employees. We plan to start off with Chennai, and soon expand into multiple cities across India. Our larger vision is to enable smooth and eco-friendly commute experiences for customers.” the founding team said.

For drivers, the benefits are numerous. Firstly, Ryde takes only 10% as commission and the rest directly goes to the driver. Moreover, In-App tipping is a feature that will help them earn more. An Emergency button ensures driver safety as well. Express Pay feature allows drivers to avail instant cash upon crossing the threshold of INR 2000. Home Duty feature helps drivers filter trips that lead them towards their home late at night. 24/7 helpline and 12 Car washes a year at an affordable price, are other attractive features.
