TFL Unveils New Brand Identity, Marking Its Next Phase of Sustainable Manufacturing and Global Growth

Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (TFL), a leading manufacturer of soda ash and ammonium chloride, today unveiled its new brand identity and logo, marking an important milestone in the Company’s evolution towards sustainable products & manufacturing practices.

With more than five decades of operating experience, TFL has evolved alongside changing markets, customer requirements and business conditions. Its new identity reflects this continuing evolution while remaining anchored in the Company’s core values, purpose and commitment to stakeholders.

The new logo brings together the letters T-F-L as an integrated form within a hexagonal structure inspired by the science of carbon bonds. The design represents connectivity, chemistry and the interdependence of elements. The green colour continues to reflect TFL’s focus on sustainability, responsibility and circularity.

Commenting on the new identity, Mr. Ashwin Muthiah, Chairman, TFL and Founder Chairman, AM International, Singapore said: “TFL has evolved over more than five decades, responding to changing markets while remaining anchored to its purpose and values. The new identity represents the next phase of that journey - one that is more sustainable, more customer-focused and increasingly global in its outlook.

It provides a visible expression of the transformation underway within the business. It represents continuity with our past, while signalling our intent to build a business that is relevant to the opportunities of the future.”

The new identity comes at a time when TFL is expanding its focus beyond traditional markets and strengthening its capabilities around sustainable manufacturing, resource-efficient operations and environmentally responsible products. In July 2026, the Company shipped its first export consignment of Ammonium Chloride (ACL), manufactured at its Tuticorin facility, to a customer in the USA. The milestone marks an important step in TFL’s ambition to build a broader international customer base.

For TFL, the new brand identity is therefore more than a visual change. It represents the direction in which the business is moving - building on more than five decades of experience while preparing for the opportunities ahead. The Company believes that the strength of a brand ultimately comes from the business behind it, and its new identity is intended to reflect that ongoing transformation.
