UNIQLO Opens First-Ever Store in Pune

September 26, 2025, Pune, India – Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today opened its first store in Pune at The Pavillion, Pune, bringing LifeWear to even more people in Western India. The new store welcomed enthusiastic customers with vibrant activities and special offers designed to introduce Punekars to LifeWear - high-quality, thoughtfully designed, and functional clothing. This marks UNIQLO’s 18th brick-and-mortar store in India, as the brand continues to expand its presence across the country.

Located on the ground floor and spanning approximately 9,000 square feet, UNIQLO The Pavillion store offers a comprehensive range of the brand’s signature LifeWear collection including men’s, women’s, kids', and baby apparel, featuring innovative fabrics such as AIRism, HEATTECH, and globally popular items such as Bratops, Denim, and more.
To celebrate the grand opening, UNIQLO offered special launch incentives to customers. The first 100 shoppers received a complimentary Round Ultra Mini Bag, one of UNIQLO’s most loved products, along with complimentary cappuccino and waffle coupons from IHOP Cafe. Customers shopping for ₹5000 and above also received a limited-edition tote bag, designed by Pune-based artist, Annushka Hardikar.
These initiatives complemented the brand’s goal of blending innovation, style, and local culture to create an engaging shopping experience. As part of the launch festivities, life-sized UNIQLO branded cubes were placed at prominent tech parks including Panchshil business park and Panchshil tech park one; and colleges including Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce and Ajeenkya DY Patil University, to engage with the city’s vibrant corporate and student communities.
