*Imaikkaa Nodigal* is 2019’s mega crime thriller, starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara in the pivotal role. Directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, the movie has a powerful cast, including Atharvaa and Anurag Kashyap in key roles and Vijay Sethupathy and Raashi Khanna in supporting roles.

 

The movie revolves around a tough chase by CBI officer Anjali (Nayanthara) to nab a psycho-killer (Anurag) who is disrupting the peace in Bangalore City. The movie chronicles the journey of Suthanthira Kodi (Amala Paul), a popular TV show anchor, who is ready to go beyond the limits set by society on how women should behave. Renowned filmmaker Rathna Kumar, who also helmed the film Meeyadha Maan, tells the story of this tomboyish, free-spirited girl and her friends in a gripping manner, keeping viewers glued to the screen all the way till the end. when it stuns the audience with its climax.

 

The movie is an amalgamation of fun, unconventional characters and the underlying threats in the society. *Coffee* is the story of a determined sister’s quest to find her missing brother amidst corruption and human trafficking. Tune in to Colors Tamil to witness an action-packed thriller on Wednesday, July 26th, at 9:30 pm. Directed by debutant Sai Krishna, the film features Ineya in the lead role, along with real-life couple Rahul Dev and Mugdha in a Tamil film together for the very first time.

 

The background score by music director Prasanna Bala elevates the experience of the film and has Venkatesh S as the DOP, Venkat Raajen as the editor, Durairaj G as Art director, Mohan Raj as lyricist, Viji Sathish as Choreographer and Don Ashok as Stunt Choreographer. *Miga Miga Avasaram* (meaning Very, Very Urgent) is a 2019 Tamil action-drama directed by Suresh Kamatchi. The film stars Sri Priyanka and Harish. It is based on gender inequality and the harassment faced by female police officers.

 

Samandhi is a female cop who has been assigned the task to provide bandobust for a VIP coming from abroad to visit a popular festival in Bhavani Temple, Erode. After waiting for a long time patiently, she desperately feels like answering nature’s call. But her senior officer makes her go through hell by not giving permission for the same due to an old grudge. Samandhi is forced to stand on a bridge all-day long and in the end, she can’t help but wet her trousers in the rain. She breaks down after the humiliation.
