Alive Launches in Hyderabad, Records Strong Early Traction Since October 2025
Alive, India’s first full-stack platform for curated, unique, and immersive experiences powered by proprietary technology, has announced the launch of its operations in Hyderabad. The platform went live in the city in October 2025, marking a strategic expansion driven by strong inbound demand from users and creators, and Hyderabad’s growing base of young, working professionals seeking experience-led ways to explore and connect offline.
Since launch, Alive has rolled out 16 new and unique experiences in Hyderabad and hosted over 2000 participants. The city has also recorded 116% growth since launch, positioning Hyderabad as one of Alive’s fastest-growing markets. Adventure and adventure sports have emerged as the most popular categories in Hyderabad. Unique, city-specific offerings currently live on the platform include Horse Riding Learning, Paramotoring, and Woodworking experiences, reflecting growing demand for hands-on, skill-based, and outdoor formats.
Alive has onboarded many creators and experience hosts in Hyderabad along with multiple specialised businesses such as Hyderabad Polo & Riding Club, Chicane Circuit, Jungle Stay Camping among others. Through its full-stack platform, Alive supports creators across experience design, discovery, bookings, and distribution, enabling them to scale sustainably. While bookings in the city are currently led by individuals and small groups, Alive has also seen early traction and inbound enquiries from over 100 Fortune 500 companies and startups indicating growing interest in experience-led formats for team engagement.
Over the next 6-12 months, Alive plans to significantly expand its Hyderabad footprint. The company aims to launch 50+ new experiences over the next six months, scaling to 100+ experiences within the next year, alongside deeper creator partnerships.
This momentum in Hyderabad reflects broader trends outlined in the Alive Experience Economy Report 2025, which tracks consumption patterns across cities where the platform is active. The report shows a 90x increase in spending on experiences in India in 2025 compared to 2024, signalling a sharp shift toward experiential consumption. More than 55% of users are now spending on learning-led experiences, while crores of rupees are being spent on weekend experiences across urban centres. The data also points to changing social behaviour, with over 1,000 corporate employees opting for experiences over traditional team outings, and a growing preference for hands-on, skill-based, and outdoor formats. Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Goa have emerged as strong contributors to this trend, driven largely by young professionals seeking meaningful, offline ways to spend time and build real-world connections.
Vivek Kumar, Founder, Alive said,“Hyderabad has been one of the most encouraging launches for us so far. The city brings together a young, curious audience and a strong base of creators, which aligns perfectly with Alive’s vision of making experiences a habitual part of urban life. The early traction we’ve seen since October reinforces our belief that people are actively looking for meaningful, well-designed ways to explore and connect beyond traditional entertainment.”
Hyderabad plays a strategically important role in Alive’s national expansion plans, given the city’s large base of experience-seeking urban consumers and its strong ecosystem of independent creators and businesses that can partner to launch new formats. Alive’s value proposition also aligns closely with Hyderabad’s culture and community, particularly as the city continues to emerge as a leading technology and innovation hub.
