Bergner Redefines Cookware to High Fashion with Excalibur by Chef Vikas Khanna

Bergner, a global cookware brand known for bringing world-class, innovative kitchen tools to households across Europe, Asia, and India, has unveiled ‘Excalibur’, its premium enameled cast iron cookware collection designed in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Vikas Khanna. Marking the launch, the brand has introduced a disruptive new campaign that positions cookware within the realm of high fashion, redefining its role in the modern home. With one of the largest and most diverse portfolios in the category, Bergner continues to lead the designer cookware segment with its expansive and design-forward collections.

The launch film, produced by Maximus Collabs from concept to post-production, takes the form of a runway-led visual narrative, where models present the Excalibur range as statement pieces, shifting the lens from utility to aspiration. Built around the idea of bringing fashion to your kitchen, the storytelling draws a bold parallel between couture and cookware, with Excalibur's signature dual-tone Pink and Teal colorways taking centre stage. Anchored by the campaign thought "Healthy Never Looked This Good", the film repositions cookware as an object of desire, underscoring Bergner's strategic vision of building a premium lifestyle brand in India.

Inspired by a moodboard rooted in high fashion aesthetics, bold color blocking, and contemporary luxury, the storytelling draws parallels between couture and cookware, with the central idea of making the kitchen an extension of personal style. The campaign aims to reposition cookware as an object of desire rather than just a necessity, underscoring Bergner’s strategic focus on building a premium lifestyle brand.

The Excalibur range reflects a reimagined approach to Cast Iron, combining material innovation with a distinctive design language. Available in bold dual-tone colour variants such as Pink and Teal, the collection introduces a striking visual identity to modern kitchens. The enamel coating is developed by Bergner Lab,  ensuring it meets the highest standards of safety and durability. Completely toxin-free and free from PFAS and PTFE, it enables safer, more conscious cooking, while its non-reactive surface supports versatility across cuisines and ensures durability over time.

Designed for modern lifestyles, the collection delivers both performance and ease. It eliminates the need for seasoning, ensures effortless cleaning, and offers superior heat retention for consistent cooking results. Compatible across gas, induction, and oven use, the range adapts seamlessly to diverse kitchen environments, making it as functional as it is refined.

With a bold visual identity and refined finish, Excalibur is crafted to move effortlessly from stove to table. Each piece is designed not only to perform but to be displayed, aligning with a new generation of consumers who value aesthetics as much as functionality.

Commenting on the launch, Umesh Guptaa, Managing Director of Bergner India, stated, “With Excalibur, we wanted to challenge not just product expectations but category perception itself. The idea behind the campaign was to take cookware out of the kitchen and place it in a space of aspiration, where design, self-expression, and lifestyle converge. Today’s consumers are seeking products that align with their values around health, aesthetics, and ease of use. Excalibur reflects this shift. It combines toxin-free, high-performance material innovation with a bold design language that stands out rather than blends in. It is cookware that does not stop at the kitchen; you cook in it, you serve in it, and it looks just as beautiful on your dining table as it does on your stove.

With this launch, Bergner and Maximus Collabs set a new benchmark where functionality meets fashion and the kitchen becomes a reflection of modern, design-conscious living. Bergner continues to strengthen its presence in the premium cookware segment by offering a globally benchmarked collection that brings together design, innovation, and everyday practicality.

The campaign is now live across Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms, targeting consumers who view cooking as both a craft and a lifestyle expression.
