ECAYLP CHESS CAMP HELD AT VELAMMAL

Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus hosted ' ECAYLP CHESS CAMP' by Shri S Srinivasarangan, eminent Chess Coach, held in CNR Hall of Excellence on 31st  October, 2022 for the students of class 6 to 7 illustrating the fact that playing Chess Improves the cognitive skills.

This  one day  camp conducted activities that included solving chess puzzles, opening moves and strategy lessons, endgame practice under the internationally accredited chess coach.
An interactive session, wherein the students were encouraged.

This Chess Camp was an initiative representing the growing movement of using chess as a pedagogic tool to develop social and intellectual skills to children.
