House of Veda recently introduced four variants in the category of natural sweeteners - Organic Jaggery Powder, Organic Jaggery Cube, Natural Coconut Sugar, and Organic Raw Sugar. These sweeteners are safe and nutritious, uplifting one’s health and vitality.
Inspired by Ayurveda, the brand encourages users to consume whole and unprocessed foods, organically-grown and rich in fibre. In line with this thought, their range of sweeteners, like jaggery and coconut sugar is produced traditionally retaining their nutrient value. What’s more, the ingredients used in making the products enhance the taste rather than take away from it, making them truly ideal.
At House of Veda, they follow traditional and organic methods of growing and processing and avoid any chemical inputs. Moreover, they emphasize preventive practices that reduce the requirement for external and off-farm inputs.
The brand’s organic management practices include the use of good quality soil to lay a strong foundation for the produce, followed by crop rotation, the use of organic fertilizers (plants, animals, or mineral-mined based), and integrated pest management. The brand also takes utmost care of the packaging, which is bio-degradable and produced with minimal wastage.
At the launch event, Amrinder Singh, Director, House of Veda, said, “It’s easy to replace the sweetness of sugar in a lot of applications, but it is extremely challenging to mimic its textural and mouthfeel properties. That is what we have successfully cracked through our proprietary formulation. The variants were developed after extensive research, and we’re confident they will soon become the preferred choice for health-conscious consumers as well as diabetics. We are looking to expand the reach of House of Veda products, as we retain our commitment towards our current customers.”
House of Veda’s Organic Jaggery Powder is available in three packages – 250gms (INR 175), 500gms (INR 140), and 900gms (INR 250); Organic Jaggery cubes is available in a 450gm jar worth INR 200; Natural Coconut Sugar is available in two packages – 125gms worth INR 200 and 150gms worth INR 275; Organic Raw Sugar is available in three packages – 250gms worth INR 175, 500gms worth INR 135 and 900gms worth INR 250. The products will be available on the brand’s e-commerce platform (https://www.houseofveda.in/ ) and will soon enter premium retail stores. In coming times, House of Veda products will also be available on other e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Tata 1mg etc.
Currently, the brand is available in Delhi/NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh & Tri-cities, Ludhiana, and Pune, and is soon looking to expand in other cities as well.
