Speaking on his appointment, Pendyala said, I am super excited to take on the responsibility of leading HYSEA at this defining moment for our industry. Artificial intelligence is becoming the foundational layer across industries. Hyderabad is well positioned to lead this transformation globally. HYSEA will work to strengthen collaboration across industry, academia, startups, and government to build a future ready and AI fluent workforce.”

Strategic Plans and Key Focus Areas for 2026–28

Scaling Member Value and Reach: As a representative of the large community of tech industry in the state of Telangana and the fastest-growing GCC destination in the country, HYSEA will evolve into an association of choice for companies to engage, learn, and grow in their professional roles and as global leaders through innovation, intellectual strength, and access to information.

Research and Thought Leadership: Two flagship reports per year, quarterly member insights digests, and at least one white paper per active council annually.

Policy and Ecosystem Partnerships: Co-creating the Telangana IT Policy, deepening engagement with the Government of Telangana, STPI Hyderabad, NASSCOM, CII, FICCI, and academia, and ensuring HYSEA value creation in all relevant forums.

AI-Fluent Workforce of Telangana: A special focus on enabling the lakhs of employees across HYSEA member companies to become AI-fluent through structured leadership development programmes, women-in-tech accelerators, and skilling partnerships with universities and startups.

Introducing the new committee, Flt Lt Bipin Pendyala added: “This is a deeply representative board. Together, we bring perspectives from large IT services majors, multinational and India-headquartered GCCs – both new entrants and long-established centres of excellence – alongside SME tech entrepreneurs and AI-first new-age leaders.
