Phenom, an applied AI company, through its corporate social responsibility initiative Phenom Cares, in partnership with Bayireddi Foundation, successfully concluded a Cancer Prevention Awareness Drive at busy intersections in Hyderabad (HITEC City and Gachibowl) and Visakhapatnam (Maddilapalem Junction), emphasizing the need for early detection, regular screening, and the overall benefits of preventive healthcare.

The awareness drive was held at high-footfall junctions during peak hours, with the goal of bringing awareness directly into public spaces and ensuring that critical information is disseminated to people within the spaces of their daily life.

As part of this initiative, the employees of Phenom employee volunteers stood at busy signal points, holding impactful placards with impactful messages on the benefits of cancer prevention. In addition, the employees also distributed cancer awareness badges to the public, encouraging them to spread the message on the need for regular screening and the benefits of healthy lifestyle practices.

“Small actions can lead to life-changing awareness, especially when it helps people stop, think and take a proactive step for their own wellbeing,” said Srinivas Pindi, VP of HR & TA at Phenom. “By taking this message to the streets, we aimed to spark conversations that normalize preventive care and encourage people to take routine screenings and regular health check-ups more seriously. When people are presented with the right information at the right time, awareness can turn into action and result in better health outcomes.
