Prayas Trust Provides Free Vision Care to 269+ Beneficiaries in Chennai
Prayas Trust, an NGO managed by the spouses of L&T employees and lady employees, organized a Mega Eye Camp today at Narayana Babu Vidyalaya, Chennai. Held in partnership with Aravind Eye Hospital and supported by L&T CSR, the camp provided essential eye care services to over 269 underprivileged beneficiaries, out of which 163 received free spectacles and 18 have been provided with free Cataract surgeries.
The initiative included comprehensive screenings, distribution of free spectacles, and scheduling of free cataract surgeries at Aravind Eye Hospital. This camp continues a decade-long tradition of Prayas Trust’s vision care programs, which have served over 2,600 people in the region to date.
