Bengaluru July 2024, The Rotary Club of Bangalore which is in its 90th year, chartered in 1934 is among the largest Rotary Clubs in India with a membership of 334 members.
The incoming President Rtn Gowri Oza while assuming office as the 90th President of this prestigious club said , "To commemorate our 90 years of service to the community, we have decided that this year 24 - 25, we will energise 90 Rural Primary Health Centres in Karnataka with Solar Energy. The total outlay on this project will be Rs. 2.7 crores. We will focus on the Labour Room, vaccine freezers and the laboratory. Other regular projects will go on as usual."
Addressing a large gathering of Roarians, families and well wishers, President Gowri Oza also announced that RCB will look at avenues which have a great impact on Women and Children.
