South Zone Inter University Chess Tournament for Men - 2022- 23 - Final Results

SRM Institute of Science and Technology Won Gold Medal in the South Zone Inter University Chess Tournament for Men – 2022-23 held at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. From 10th to 12th March 2023. First time in India SRM IST collaboration with ESI gave prize money for the top four teams.

1st Position: SRM Institute of Science and Technology (TN)  - Rs. 15, 000 Prize Money

2nd Position: MG University, Kottayam (KL)- Rs. 12, 000 Prize Money

3rd Position: University of Madras (TN).  - Rs. 10, 000, Prize Money

4th Position: Bharathidasan University (TN). - Rs. 8,000, Prize Money

These Top Four Teams are Qualified for the National Inter University Chess Tournament for Men 2022-2023 which is to be held at AMET University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. From 13th to 16th March 2023.
