VINGROUP CONTRIBUTES VND 150 TRILLION TO STATE BUDGET, SETTING NEW RECORD IN VIETNAM

According to a newly released ranking, Vingroup (HOSE: VIC) has set a new record for State budget contributions, contributing nearly VND 150 trillion in 2025 and firmly maintaining its position as Vietnam’s largest private-sector contributor to the national budget. This marks the first time a private-sector company has contributed more than VND 100 trillion to the State budget in a single year, establishing a new benchmark for the scale of private-sector contributions to Vietnam’s economy.

According to the ranking of Vietnam’s largest private-sector contributors to the State budget, recently published by CafeF, Vingroup retained the top position, with total State budget contributions reaching VND 148.773 trillion in 2025, up 165% from more than VND 56.2 trillion in 2024. On average, Vingroup contributed more than VND 407 billion to the State budget every day throughout 2025.

The record-breaking contribution, far exceeding previous State budget contribution records, underscores the strong growth momentum of Vingroup’s entire ecosystem across its business segments. In 2025, Vingroup recorded total revenue of more than VND 332.808 trillion and profit after tax of more than VND 11.146 trillion, representing year-on-year increases of 76% and 111%, respectively.

Building on this positive momentum, in the first six months of 2026, Vingroup continued to post strong growth, with consolidated net revenue rising 72.5% year-on-year to VND 222.3 trillion. Consolidated profit after tax increased 4.5 times year-on-year to VND 20.375 trillion, equivalent to 58% of the full-year profit target.

Within the Industrials & Technology pillar, VinFast continued to firmly maintain its No. 1 position in Vietnam’s electric vehicle market. In the first six months of 2026, VinFast delivered more than 115,916 electric vehicles in the domestic market, up 72% year-on-year, while global deliveries reached 128,662 vehicles, up 78%. The electric motorcycle business also recorded breakthrough growth, with nearly 429,175 vehicles delivered, 3.7 times higher than the same period last year. Alongside maintaining its absolute leadership position in Vietnam, VinFast continued to expand its international presence, with 474 showrooms, concentrated in key Asian markets.

Within the Real Estate & Services pillar, Vinhomes continued to affirm its position as Vietnam’s leading real estate developer, recording equivalent revenue of VND 134.2 trillion in the first six months of the year, three times higher than the same period last year. Vinpearl also continued to develop its integrated tourism and hospitality ecosystem and expand its portfolio of brands, contributing to the enhanced competitiveness of Vietnam’s tourism industry in international markets.

Vingroup is also accelerating the development of new growth pillars aligned with strategic sectors, particularly infrastructure and green energy, making a strong contribution to the nation’s new era of growth and development.

Alongside business performance and State budget contributions, Vingroup has remained committed to long-term investments in areas of enduring significance to the community, including healthcare, education, culture and social welfare. Within the Culture pillar, the Group seeks to preserve and promote traditional values while fostering creativity and helping Vietnamese cultural products reach broader audiences both domestically and internationally.

Within the Social Enterprises pillar, through the Thien Tam Fund, Vingroup has consistently implemented a wide range of programs supporting healthcare, education, livelihoods, disaster relief and vulnerable communities. To date, the Fund has allocated VND 35 trillion to social welfare, humanitarian and gratitude programs, while recently committing an additional VND 11 trillion to initiatives honoring and supporting those who have made contributions to the nation.

These achievements have contributed to Vingroup’s ranking among the Top 30 largest companies in Southeast Asia. For the third consecutive year, Vingroup has also remained the highest-ranked Vietnamese company in Fortune’s ranking of the 500 largest companies in Southeast Asia.

Vingroup’s continued leadership in State budget contributions, together with its ability to repeatedly surpass its own records in the scale of contributions to the national budget, reflects the Group’s strong financial health and outstanding growth potential. These achievements also demonstrate the increasingly important role of Vietnam’s private sector in creating breakthrough growth drivers for the economy, contributing significantly to State revenues, generating employment, creating sustainable value for communities, and strengthening Vietnam’s position in the global market./.
