2ND NATIONAL WELLBEING SUMMIT
Shobhit University organized the 2nd edition of National Wellbeing Summit on 29th February 2020 at Le Meridian Hotel, Janpat, New Delhi. The summit’s main agenda was to promote wellness in the form of Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy.
Dr Anju Sharma, a Psychiatrist, Sound & Energy Master, Wellness-Holistic Coach, International Speaker and Founder of the Musical Healing Band named “Sound of Infinity”, was also a part of this grand summit. She showed a glimpse of how the vibration can affect the body. She spoke about Nada yoga and its four stages. Nada Yoga is all about sounds. It is the knowledge of the quality of sounds and the way they affect people. Going further she discussed the four stages of Nada Yoga and how these stages affect the four layers of the brain in our body. She presented the vibrational music in which she depicted four elements water, earth, fire and space. During the summit, she also discussed the concept of Nada Brahma which means that the whole universe was created from the energy of sound. In fact, the philosophies of Indian Classical Music was originated from the theory of Nada Brahma.
Talking about the wellness industry and its future, Dr Anju Sharma said, “The wellness industry in India is one of the fastest emerging sectors across the globe. There is tremendous scope as this sector is not limited to elite people or certain brands. People from various countries are visiting India due to its wellness industry and hence our hospitality and tourism sector is also booming. We are here to propagate the message of wellbeing and wellness among people and ensure that everyone leads a healthy and happy life.”
The summit witnessed the presence of several eminent dignitaries, spiritual leaders, yoga guru, academicians and media persons. The summit was in the continuation of the honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision to keep India fit and healthy and taking a cue from the first 'Health and Wellness Centre launch' by the Government's under the realm of ambitious health assurance programme- Ayushman Bharat.
The inaugural session was addressed by Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) and Minister of State for Defence, Govt of India. Besides, Dr Bharat Bhushan, Padma Shri Swami, Mokshayatan International Yogashram, Saharanpur and Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, Chancellor, Shobhit University, Gangoh & Meerut among others graced the event.
