Charity With A Twist (CWAT) app was launched in association with Nargis Dutt Foundation at an event called ‘Celebrating Excellence in Philanthropy’ at The Lalit in Mumbai. The idea of using a digital medium to develop sustainable welfare and long term solutions in India is the key idea behind the CWAT App. Their aim is to bring together like minded Individuals, Corporates and NGOs that thrive to bring progress in the world by contributing towards Social Impact in their own unique ways through CWAT.

The launch event was an opportunity for philanthropists working in the field of animal, human and environmental welfare to showcase their work. They were encouraged and honored by The Nargis Dutt Foundation and Mrs. Priya Dutt. Currently the app has around 160+ NGO’s supporting them.

Drzya Foundation, acid attack survivors and the LGBTQIA community together with CWAT, promote equality and better living for all. Dignitaries like Smita Thackeray, corporates and NGO Heads, fashion designer Deepti Bharwani as well as actors namely Saqib Saleem, Zareen Khan, Bani J, Ravi Dubey, Rajeev Khandelwal, Sameer Kochhar amongst other were present to support the Initiative of CWAT.

Talking about the initiative and the launch Tarang Chandola said “We are happy that through CWAT there are multiple NGO’s who will get support from all the corners of India. We know a lot of people who like to support a cause or multiple causes but are not able to connect with the correct NGO, CWAT will give them a platform where they can extend their help to and work towards a better society”

With time, resources and most importantly faith, CWAT will create a sustainable and long term solution to bring about welfare in India.
