CLIKTRONIKA 2026 Opens in Bengaluru to Drive Innovation in Electronics Manufacturing
CLIKTRONIKA 2026, Karnataka's premier three-day Electronics Exhibition and Conference, commenced on Thursday at the Jnana Jyothi Auditorium, Bengaluru City University. Organised by the Consortium of Electronic Industries of Karnataka (CLIK), the event will continue on July 31 and August 1 under the theme "Innovation, Manufacturing Excellence and Emerging Technologies – Advancing MSMEs Towards Sustainable and Global Growth."
The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Avinash Menon, Managing Director, Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Government of Karnataka, in the presence of Mr. Devaraj K., Director, MSME, Mrs. Uma Reddy, President, FKCCI, and Mr. L. R. Narayana, Assistant General Manager, SIDBI. The dignitaries inaugurated the exhibition and visited stalls showcasing innovative products, advanced manufacturing technologies and electronics solutions.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Avinash Menon said Karnataka is creating a robust innovation ecosystem by strengthening industry-academia collaboration and encouraging MSMEs to adopt advanced technologies for sustainable growth and global competitiveness.
Mr. Madhav R. Badsheshi, President, CLIK, welcomed the gathering and said CLIKTRONIKA has evolved into a premier platform connecting industry, government, academia and technology leaders to foster innovation, investment and business partnerships in Karnataka's electronics sector.
Mr. Devaraj K., Director, MSME, said technology adoption, quality manufacturing and innovation will be the key drivers in enabling MSMEs to become globally competitive and contribute to India's growing electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
Mrs. Uma Reddy, President, FKCCI, emphasised the importance of strengthening industry partnerships and creating a business-friendly ecosystem to accelerate manufacturing growth and investment in Karnataka.
Ms. Hema Malini, Lead Organiser and Past President, CLIK, spoke on "Innovation to Manufacturing Excellence," highlighting the need for continuous innovation and manufacturing excellence to position Indian industries in global value chains.
Delivering the Keynote Address, Mr. Sundararaman Ganapathiraman, Chief Scientist & Head – Wipro Research, shared insights on the future of advanced electronics, artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing, stressing the importance of research-led innovation in shaping the next generation of electronic products.
Representing the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), Mr. Ajay Krishnan outlined initiatives aimed at strengthening Karnataka's digital economy, supporting startups and MSMEs, and promoting innovation-led growth across the electronics ecosystem.
