Collaboration with PARDICOLOR
Good Travel with Marriott Bonvoy™ is collaborating with PARDICOLOR, an environmental creative arts initiative by conservation organization Wildlife Asia to create artwork that reimagines travel. The collaboration underscores the program’s vision to shift travel from a pure leisure experience to one that allows opportunities to positively impact communities and the environment.
PARDICOLOR is a platform that supports artists and communities working to conserve wildlife and pristine habitats through art. Through PARDICOLOR, artist Joséphine Billeter, illustrated three travel art based on the three pillars of Good Travel by Marriott Bonvoy™: Environmental Protection, Marine Conservation, and Community Engagement. Based in Laos and with a keen interest in environmental protection and wildlife conservation, Joséphine utilized warm color palettes and textured layers to playfully recreate traditional travel posters into travel art with a purposeful twist to raise public awareness around the three pillars of Good Travel with Marriott Bonvoy™.
Travel Art 1 - Environmental Protection
Inspired by the backdrop of mountains and forests, the travel art features a father and son planting a sapling, learning about the environment and contributing to its protection. In the background, people are ‘plogging’ and enjoying the views – a perfect depiction of how we can travel and contribute meaningfully to environmental protection with Good Travel experiences. The scenery is embedded in a hilly landscape that represents a balance of both wild habitats with lush forest and cultivated landscapes with organic gardens.
Travel Art 2 - Marine Conservation
The travel art features a guest and a local marine expert rehabilitating reef habitats via a coral building experience. Travelers in the background are doing yoga and relaxing by the sunny beach, demonstrating how we can enjoy, but also help protect and maintain delicate marine ecosystems.
Travel Art 3 - Community Engagement
This travel art highlights cultural preservation and volunteerism, featuring guests working together to preserve and clean a local temple. A volunteer in the background is participating in a helmet painting workshop to understand why and how they can improve road safety for children. The illustrations capture how guests can forge connections with local communities and drive positive impact.
