Madras Art Weekend commences its Fourth Edition with the theme Madras Reimagined

Chennai, 3rd December 2025- Madras Art Weekend 2025 opens with a VIP Preview & Opening of the Gallery Exhibit (public access from 4th–6th December). on Wednesday, at Taj Coromandel, Chennai, The evening began with a lamp-lighting ceremony graced by Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Mani Ratnam renowned filmmaker, Christopher Hodges, US Consul General, Chennai and Sethu Vaidyanathan, Social Entrepreneur, followed by a walk-through of the exhibition. The festival will host the Collectors’ Panel on “The Impact of Private and Public Patronage”, moderated by Deepali Goyal with speakers Amit Khanna, Siddharth Somaiya, Rhea Kuruvilla, and Narayan Lakshman.
Speaking on the opening, Upasana Asrani, Founder of Madras Art Weekend, shared, “Madras Art Weekend has always been about celebrating the creative pulse of this city, and with Madras Reimagined we aim to inspire a more nuanced understanding of Chennai—its stories, its makers, and its evolving identity—by bringing together diverse perspectives that reflect how dynamic the city’s creative community truly is.”
