South Asia's biggest poultry expo to be held in Hyderabad from November 26 to 28
The 17th edition of Poultry India exhibition will be conducted from November 26 to 28, 2025 at Hitex in Hitech City, Hyderabad. Poultry Knowledge Day will be organized on November 25 at HICC Novotel.
The three-day expo is a wide forum with valuable information about poultry industry, feed equipment, technology, breeders, egg farming, poultry nutrition, animal health and international poultry production.
It also offers latest advances in poultry research, science and technology like cages and feed milling importance apart from advanced knowledge and understanding of poultry industry via scientific forums, training and career opportunities in the poultry industry.
Sharing details of the exhibition at a curtain raiser event organized on Wednesday in Hyderabad, the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) president Uday Singh Bayas said the main objective of exhibition was to keep abreast of the latest developments and practice in the poultry management, poultry health and nutrition, poultry breeding and new techniques in feed manufacturing and poultry production.
He said Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will attend as a chief guest for the expo. “This exhibition is South Asia's biggest poultry exhibition and we are expecting the participation of more than 45,000 people from 35 to 50 countries,” Uday Singh Bayas explained.
“This year's significance is that the Ministry from Uganda and its Agriculture Minister is expected to visit the expo along with several associations representing the various governments worldwide to know how India has been developing now as we rank the second largest producer of egg and fourth largest in chicken,” he said.
“As many 500 exhibitors from various countries will showcase their world class products. India is today in such a position that we are producing our own production in India and we are also exporting it,” he said.
Uday Singh Bayas further stated that the efforts of the poultry industry in India embody the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat, reflecting the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, which was specified by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his vision 2047.
Explaining about the health benefits, he said the IPEMA was in the forefront in promoting egg and chicken, which has protein rich health benefits. “The chicken and eggs are a good source of protein consumed in our villages and cities. Basically if we see that most of the people today are underweight in various villages. If we provide a good diet with protein, the problem of underweight can be addressed,” he added.
The press meet was attended by several key representatives from the poultry industry. Among them were K. G. Anand, General Manager of Venkateshwara Hatcheries Ltd, and Chitturi Suresh Rayadu, Special Invitee and Managing Director of Srinivasa Farma Pvt Ltd. Also present were Dr. K. Balaswamy, President of the National Egg & Chicken Promotion Council (NECPC).The Telangana Poultry Federation (TPF) was represented by its President, K. Mohan Reddy, and Vice President, V. Narasimha Reddy. Other notable attendees included M. K. Vyas, President of the Indian Poultry Journalists Association (IPJA); Naveen Pasuparthy, President of the Karnataka Poultry Farmers & Breeders Association (KPFBA); Singaraj K., President of the Tamil Nadu Poultry Farmers Association (TNPFA); and Valsan P., Secretary of the All India Poultry Products Exporters Association. The event also saw participation from Dr. Ravinder Reddy, Secretary of the Telangana Poultry Breeders Association (TPBA), Gurram Chandra Shekhar reddy, Chairman NECC Hyderabad zone and V Bhasker Rao, Gen Sec TPF.
