SRM IST Directorate of Sports Recognised at National Sports Physical Education Awards 2026

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST), Directorate of Sports, has been selected for recognition under the category “Best Institution for Outdoor Sports Facilities” at the National Sports Physical Education Awards 2026. This honour recognises SRM IST’s commitment to excellence in sports infrastructure and physical education.

The award will be presented during the Global Sports Education Convention on 15 January 2026 organised by  The Confederation of Sports and Recreation Industry (CSRI) powered by Ministry of Youth & Sports. at the India International Centre, New Delhi. This recognition reflects the institution’s continuous efforts in developing world-class sports facilities and promoting a culture of sports and fitness. SRM IST remains dedicated to nurturing talent, encouraging participation, and supporting holistic student development through sports.
