Chennai:  Madras, the South Indian Restaurant at The Raintree Anna Salai will be hosting an eight day-long celebration of Kerala cuisines as a part of their Onam Celebration, where the guests can experience the authentic Kerala flavors from 1st to 8th September. The restaurant will also be offering a special traditional Onam Sadya from 3rd to 5th September.

During this festivity at Madras, The Raintree, Anna Salai, will present authentic Kerala dishes prepared in traditional style to celebrate the festival. The special menu for the festival consists of appetizers such as Madhura kizhangu cutlet, kappa thalichathu, Prawn Kizhi, Koonthal thenga kothu, Kanthari tawa fry, main course include dishes such as Kappa Biriyani, kozhi pidi, Syrian beef fry, pork koorka fry, Meen manga curry, kanthari konju masala, Kallumakkai Roast and luscious dessert consist of Pazham puzhugiyathu, Ambalapuzha pal payasam, Edichu Pizhinga payasam, Jack Fruit Ice Cream and many more to indulge in. During Onam Sadya the restaurant will be serving traditional delicacies such as Kalan, Avial, Olan, Varuthupperi, Palada Pradhaman, Paripuu Payasam and many more.

The Raintree, Anna Salai wishes Onam Ashamsakal to everyone and in lieu with festivity the restaurant will be decorated with pookkalams and the hosts will be seen in traditional Kerala outfit during the celebration.
