72nd REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATED AT VELAMMAL

Velammal Nexus celebrated the 72nd Republic Day with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour that was live streamed on 26th January, 2021 at 10:30am in the Velammal Nexus YouTube channel.

The virtual R-day was presided by our Guests of Honour Shri. P. Benjamin, Minister of Rural Industries and Shri. M Manohar IPS., Assistant Inspector General of Police who addressed the viewers with their words of motivation.

The Flag unfurling ceremony in Velammal Nexus Schools were attended by the senior secondary students, teachers and school staff in adherence to COVID-19 safety norms.

The fervour of patriotism was well exhibited through a spectrum of patriotic songs and speeches. The ceremony took a lively turn when a special tribute was paid to the freedom fighters and martyrs. Finally, it concluded with a speech on the history and  significance of Republic Day.

The virtual celebration at Velammal made it a day with great splendour, joy and respect for Mother India.
