Helmet Awareness Rally in Chennai

Helmet Awareness Rally in Chennai

Helmet Awareness Rally conducted by Big Biking commune and Chennai Royal Riders Club in association with Greater Chennai Traffic Police.
Inorder to remind people of the helmet rule and promote awareness on road safety
In the wake of increasing accidents in the city, the helmet rule was imposed few months ago, urging bikers and pillion riders to wear helmet. While a lot of riders are held for violating rules, the intensity of the rule is growing stronger.  Inorder to remind people of the helmet rule and promote awareness on road safety, Big Biking Commune in partnership with Chennai Royal Riders Motorcycle club, organized a Helmet Awareness Rally with the support from Greater Chennai Traffic Police.

The rally was flagged off from Chennai Airport, and saw participation from 70 bikers across Chennai.  “With adventure and fun comes responsibility. While we are trying to create fun and adventurous activities for bikers and alike, we are also aiming to promote road safety which is inseparable when it comes to biking. Thus, we are happy to partner with such awareness rallies organized by biking clubs and the Chennai Traffic Police” says Arun Kumar, Convener, Big Biking Commune.
