Rovman Powell Keeps Hope After KKR’s Third Loss in IPL 2026

Kolkata, April 10 (ANI): Rovman Powell stayed positive despite Kolkata Knight Riders’ third loss in the IPL 2026. He believes the team can still improve their performance with more games ahead. Powell mentioned that the players are working hard and expects results to come soon.

In their recent match against Luckow Super Giants (LSG), KKR lost a close game at Eden Gardens. LSG won by three wickets in a thrilling final-ball finish. Ayush Badoni and Mukul Choudhary both scored 50 runs each, helping LSG secure their second win of the season.

Mukul Choudhary was particularly impressive, scoring 54 runs off 27 balls with seven sixes and two fours. Powell admitted that KKR could have adjusted their bowling strategy earlier, especially against Choudhary, to build pressure and restrict runs. He suggested changing tactics sooner might have led to more dot balls and a different outcome.
