Damaged certificates will be replaced: Madras University
Chennai: University of Madras Vice-Chancellor R Thandavan, has announced that degree certificates damaged or lost in the recent floods in the city would be replaced on request.
Former students of the university, whose degree certificates were either lost or damaged in the recent floods, can approach the university with appropriate letters from the local legislative assembly member and the police officer. The certificates will be issued free of cost, said a release.
The University examinations have been postponed again till 12 December. Also, examinations scheduled till 8 December for the government law colleges and institutions affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr Ambedkar Law University have been postponed.
