Sandeep Kumar case proves AAP?s prompt action: Sisodia
PANAJI: The manner in which the Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi government tackled the case of its now former minister Sandeep Kumar, who has since been arrested for rape, shows that the party cracks down promptly on any act of impropriety, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said on Tuesday.
“We are the only party in the country, which takes strict action and certainty of action is there,” he said, when asked to comment on the episode.
Sisodia was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his visit to Mapusa town, around 10 km north of Panaji.
Kumar, the women and child development minister in the AAP government in Delhi was sacked after a CD showing him in a compromising position with a woman surfaced. Kumar has since been booked for rape and arrested.
